‘Withnail and I’ screening for Midsummer Fest. May 17, 2008

I’ve been really lazy and not posting anything on here but finally I have some news. The Cork Midsummer Festival which is largely focused on theatre and dance, have decided to screen this cult classic in the Spiegeltent on June 29th at 1pm. Admission is €10. It’ll be interesting to see how many people turn up seeing as the dvd copy is often available at half this price. But you have to admit that there’s nothing like seeing a classic film on the big screen, where it belongs, particularly when you’re surrounded by its many fans.
