This week’s Trailers… August 28, 2008

I’ve been a little airy-fairy when it comes to updating trailers on this site..so from now on, I swear, I’ll update it every week. After all, who wants to see a trailer when the film has been in cinemas for two weeks already.

This week we have The Strangers starring Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman, which is to be released on August 29th here in Ireland. It’s such an over-the-top trailer that you feel like you’ve seen half the movie by the time it’s over. Watch out too for the evil guys who look like they’ve modelled themselves on Cillian Murphy’s Scarecrow from Batman Begins. It could be a decent horror but it’s too close for comfort to last year’s Vacancy for my liking.

Then there’s also a teaser trailer for Wolverine which won’t appear until 2009. It fits with the fact that I’ll be posting a piece on upcoming superhero movies soon.
