Just received this piece of news from budding filmmaker Kevin Savage today:
‘My Ball’, the short film written, directed and produced by Kevin O’Neill has been nominated for the Best Short Film Award at the International Film Festival of South Africa. The festival opens on the 12th of October at The Everglades Country Resort, Dargle, South Africa with My Ball being screened on Tuesday 14th. The Awards ceremony takes place Saturday October 18th.
My Ball is the second short from the Co. Cork native following on from his debut short Turn which has also screened at various festivals around the world.
My Ball stars Eoin Murphy and was shot by Seamus Hegarty on the banks of the Bandon River in July of last year. Music on the short was provided by Sean Wallace.
